YIT Building Systems

We are proud to announce that YIT has chosen Evatic as their service management software solution in Norway. YIT is a nationwide subsidiary of Finnish YIT Group and has more than 3.200 employees in Norway.

yit_tekniker“YIT has chosen the Evatic Mobile PC solution for their technicians and Evatic Service for their in-house staff”,“We have worked together with YIT to customise and tailor the solution to their needs and both parties are very pleased with the result.”

says Evatic’s project manager Magnus Reintz.
Final testing and implementation will be completed by December 2008 and YIT will be fully operational by the second quarter 2009 within all their 60 departments and with more than 600 service engineers.

Evatic Service will help YIT with more efficient planning and execution of service tasks. They will also benefit from having service history, customised service contracts and analysis of turnover easily accessible from one system. Evatic will be fully integrated with YIT’s existing ERP system. As opposed to their previous service management system, Evatic will be a centralised solution and different YIT departments will be able to work together to exchange service tasks, history and customer relations.

YIT's in-field staff, service technicians, service coordinators and project managers will have many benefits from using Evatic Mobile PC. All service tasks the dispatchers give out will automatically appear as new jobs on the mobile laptops. Technicians can then easily report their work and travel time, consumed articles and the actions taken. With pre-defined action codes, text fields and advanced checklist functionality, Evatic will create service reports and send them directly to the customer.

Technicians paid by the hour will have their hour lists automatically generated, based on their work and travel times registered in Evatic Mobile PC. At the end of each week, technicians will log in to a specially developed Evatic Time Web solution, where they receive a detailed overview of last week’s hours. They can add, edit and delete entries, and submit their hour list for final approval. After supervisor approval, the hours are transferred directly to YIT’s salary system for execution of payment.

“YIT is a huge player in the Scandinavian market and their service cars can be seen all over the country. We are extremely proud of winning such a contract and it really shows that Evatic is an ideal solution for enterprise companies”, says Arild Andersen, CEO of Evatic AS”.
