Problem Management – a knowledge database for support and service tasks

Based on ITIL and the principals for quality control in the IT industry, Evatic  takes problem solving one step further. The Problem Management Module aims to reduce the impact that various problems may create for a company. The module plays a central role in finding and improving sustainable solutions to problems and preventing problems from reoccurring.

If a problems occurs e.g. with a unit model in a certain serial number interval, the system can send e-mails regarding the problem directly to the equipment’s contact person or the contact persone registered on the customer’s card.

The module is based on workaround, problem analysis and solution.

Workaround creates alternative ways of action to work around the problem until a sustainable solution is implemented. The system informs the customer about temporary routines that should be followed. The problem gets thoroughly investigated and when a solution is found and implemented, all customers affected by the problem will be contacted automatically.  
When a new problem is registered in the database, information regarding similar problems will be provided automatically, given that a similar case has been registered in Evatic earlier.
